Turkey Hill Minit Market

I've been coming into this location for about a month now every morning to grab an energy drink. Every morning I have worn a backpack into the building. This morning I was told I have to leave my bag at the door. However, this same request was not given to women carrying bags. I was told it was company policy. So is it Turkey Hill policy that women are allowed to carry/wear their bags but men are not? This is discrimination. I was told to leave my bag at the door where there is always a homeless man asking for money. He has even been inside said door asking for money. Is this discrimination or is the employee setting me up to be robbed?

Price tags dont match the item. I work long hours and dont get off till most stores are closed and needed toilet paper ( my problem, not theirs ) I get a convenience fee but a small 4 pack of off brand toilet paper... $10. Price tag said 5.99. What a rip off. They can keep it for that price. Employees are okay. But the store lacks item availability. Been in a few times recently during the day and nothing was made at the deli.

I used to work at this location several years ago… And it has gone DOWNHILL!!!! Most of the employees are rude and have no professional manners whatsoever!! Luckily, there are a few veterans that have been there for years, they are the saving grace. However, they all work day shift. The night shift… I can’t even begin to describe them without getting my review deleted!! For instance… This evening, I went there to get gas and a few other things. The “gentleman” working at the register was wearing jeans, a green camo T-shirt and white framed sunglasses. 🙄 Really?? Is it that bright, or do you have red, glassy eyes?? On numerous occasions I have stopped there early in the morning (5:00am) and there has been a sign on the door that said “On Break”… WHAT?? First of all, why are you working alone? And, why are you locking the door and closing the store?? Do you have permission to do that from your corporate office?? That’s losing business at prime time in the morning. This is also happened late in the evening around 9:00pm. I have contacted their corporate office, but I’ve never received a response. So I’m guessing that the new company that owns a Turkey Hill does not care. And WHY is this store constantly FILTHY!!! The floors are always a disgusting mess and sticky. I never see anyone mopping during the evening. The floors are almost black around the fountain drink area. Not to mention, the parking lot. There’s always a bunch of trash in the lot, the trash cans are never emptied, the windshield wipers and fluid are never filled, along with the towel dispensers. I thought this was supposed to be a “GAS STATION”?? Apparently, nobody got that memo!! Especially this EG Company that bought them. AND WHY, OH WHY IS IT THAT DIFFICULT TO ORDER PRODUCT FOR YOUR STORE??? The current “Manager” gets an F for effort!! DO YOUR JOB!! You are obviously LAZY!! This business is obviously hurting… Did you notice they took away the Kroger fuel points for a short period of time, and then brought them back?? Because Turkey Hill is failing. And, this location will tell you why. Avoid it!!
